My oldest daughter, three and a half years old, and sometimes she just seems so much older...as she tinkers around quietly, occasionally talking to herself, singing, humming, or asking me random questions she really is hard at work...with her scissors and the basket full of yarn, she is creating her own little universe...playing out what she absorbs throughout the days. Sometimes the product of that play, which i later find, really just takes my breath away...sometimes it makes me smile or laugh, usually it makes me so proud, and every now and then i am left a bit confused...but more often than not, and in this case, especially, it is just such an amazing reflection...like she's holding up a mirror, really.
